I don't think is in Sony's interest to do this.

When the PS4 is going to sell anyway most of the bundles will be PS4 buyers just looking to make a quick buck. Sony would be taking away the profit margins of both pieces of hardware just for Vitas to end up on ebay.

The idea of selling hardware with little to no profit is to make profit from the games they'll buy.  Vita demand on ebay may spike a little with resellers outdoing eachother for low price, but it'll just be a blip of new Vita owners.

Sony should stick to selling Vitas to people who want one, even if small at least do not sacrifice profit margins of Vita and PS4 for little gain.

With a price-cut on the Vita putting it at $199 or $175 the profit margains for resellers won't be that great.

If they pay the extra $100 for the Vita, after taxes it'll contribute $106 to the cost of their purchase, if they sell the Vita for $150 on ebay they'd only make a $40 profit and if they try to make even higher profits then an used Vita at gamestop would be their competitor. Honestly if the Vita gets a price-cut I doubt many people will find buying the bundle to ressell it worth it.

Also if they could afford to do this, would be a megaton. Offering a PS Vita + PS4 vs Xbone + Kinect isn't even a contest.
