As far as I know, the site only tracks physical sales. And considering digital sales are gathering momentum in the share of total sales the website data will be everyday less-accurate in comparison with reality. This gen it wasn't such a deal for consoles, however, both sony and ms are pushing digital sales in favor of retailers for next-gen. Billboard have technology to track digital sales for music albums, but i dont know if sony and ms will make sales data as available as itunes and amazon music store
