Why is this so confusing for a lot of people. M$ isn't "putting it behind the paywall" to screw anyone. What they are doing is storing into the cloud. To store it into their cloud service, you need Live. Until Sony comes out and clearly states that for you to share your videos, you DON'T need PS+, you can't be sure they won't actually need it. The video has to go from the console to the internet somehow. After following a few of the links that people posted in this thread, i didn't see anything that indicated that the video wouldn't be stored on the XBone locally and then transferred to the cloud later. Most of these obscure features can be done many ways and i would guess this could change when we finally get the systems into the market. We don't really know many of the actual details of how either system will accomplish the DVR functions.
