A couple of years ago, about 4 times as many apps were purchased from iOS than on the android platform, now, iOS purchases only about 2 times as much. Apple's market is a little bit more affluent than android, bc android tries to be just good enough and cheap, so Apple benefits from customers that can spend more. But then again, as I mentioned a few lines ago, this is changing and quickly.
