I don't think another Assassin's Creed would've done anything for the console anyway (although it might've been a better game than Liberation). If Sony were pushing for something else from Ubisoft, I'd hope it'd be a Far Cry or Splinter Cell or something. Something different to broaden the range of stuff on the console.
I still need to buy Liberation. It's beginning to knock around the price I'd consider buying it at (about £20 now; £15 or so is good for me).
