Naughty Dog reveals The Last of Us alternate ending image (Spoilers?)

My cousin and I were just discussing this very thing. He just finished it and is fine with the way it ended. I'd have liked this ending better (judging from the picture) or at least a choice of which ending I'd want to see. Great game nonetheless and awesome multiplayer.
