But what if your pet wants to live anyway?

I know it's silly ain't it? We put our pet down anyway regardless of what they think and yet a human who wants to die for some reason is denied their right. 

In any case, I do agree that if the person has meditated about it a lot, and he does want to put an end to his/her life, we should accept it.
