FTP has a bad name a lot of the times when it comes to forum members. most of the time this is because "Pay to Win".
However as time has been going on the industry seems to be getting a better grip on how to do Free to Play games with games such as Warface, Dota 2, Tribes Ascend, and Planteside 2 to be a few showcases of it.
For me personally I haven't really enjoyed FTP games yet, though I still have high hopes for them.
Dota 2 - Great game, just not my style
Tribes Ascend - Great game, don't like using Keyboard mouse
Planetside 2 - Same thing as Tribes Ascend. I have high hopes for Planetside 2 on PS4.
Also a few others that I have high hopes for is Project Spark and Killer Instinct (Though you also have the option to buy the full game).
So what is some that you all have liked or hated? Do you think the industry will get it right this generation and find a nice balance for FTP games?
