A "few extra mill" (which is not guaranteed) is not worth their time when they're going to make $1 billion + on PS360.

Gangbusters? Please no ...

Another thing, do you have figures on how much time it would take R* to port to WiiU? Time that could be better spent on DLC that in itself will sell millions on PS360, or onto another game. This is exactly why the $1m figure is not one size fits all.

1 Billion? what are you smoking?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 made 500 million dollars in the first day and a billion in 2 weeks. Since GTA is just as popular it's a safe bet that it'll get +billion.

a $60 game selling 20M generates more than a billion REVENUE, profits are a different story. Also, consider that call of is a yearly rehashed game so activision certainly profits more per unit than most other games in the market.

You're right it is revenue, still they'd make so much money that an extra few millions wouldn't be very significant. There's also DLC which they will be getting most of the costs for themselves.

a few extra million for a mere port of an already complete game is certainly significant. especially when it can turn into dozens of millions in the next installment.

The lowest profit I can see it making rockstar is $600 mill. So a WiiU version would still give them negligible amounts. You're still not getting that that kind of userbase isn't on WiiU and never will be, you're banking on Nintendo fans buying GTAV, and given we've seen no evidence to say they will it's a risk, and don't throw me the "we've never had a game to show they won't buy GTAV" line (we have, but it all gets ignored and tonnes of poor excuses follow.) That's the whole reason it's a risk.

At the end of the day take two gave DS an exclusive GTA game, they're not "haters" if they don't come out with a copy obviously it's simply not worth their time.
