No, its actually worse.

First off - you look like a complete fool. Imagine you are playing WiiSports - without the Wiimote. That isn't cool - its f*cked up. No weight in your hand, etc.

Secondly - no access to ANY buttons.

Thirdly - no sound, force feedback. Also no pointer - unless you are talking about something like the EyeToy used years back (track the position of a hand, and use it as the position of a cursor on screen). It was fun for about 3 minutes.

Imagine not having a mouse - and waving your hands around to select things and open windows (etc..). Its fine for simple multimedia applications (moving images, resizing) - but for anything more hardcore, it would suck.

Lets see BOTH MS and Sony take this approach, and see what happens...
