So if I were to import the US version, would I be able to play with my friends who have the UK version if the animations and stuff are different? I mean will this affect playing with people? That is not likely. The german version gets released on german speaking markets only. Same with the french version. The rest of europe gets the english/UK version (sometimes spain beeing the exception with a spanish speaking version).
Occasionally you get more spoken languages in local markets, but english is always the default.
