Do you think we are heading towards a single universal console?

I don't think we will however I do like the idea of a more 'mobile phone like' business model. This being that a hardware manufacturers will make the consoles based on similar designs, software companies will make an OS each with their own special features but primarily the same so they can play all games that are made by developers.

But I'm thinking this business model would only work when the industry is digital only so along way off.
