Well. Since this keeps coming up. I do hate the waste of food that Americans do. I think whole crops are wasted that took farmers months to grow.

If we just gave bums food then no one would feel the need to pay for it. Same with Half Price books. If I was allowed to just wait until they threw the stuff away, then they would never make any money. I get that. Just not throwing stuff away. If it is rare, I feel they should do something with that at least. Make sure what they are tossing is in the national register or whatever it is called.

It has more to do with health food laws than anything.McDonalds gives their old burgers to homeless people, homeless people get sick, sue Mcdonalds for millions. End of story.
