This is unacceptable. How far will governments and corporations go? Haven't they done enough yet? I think it's time ordinary people made them respect something as simple as our privacy. It's just not right

I agree with you.  The current rational from the gov is that they can record everything, but it is not an invasion of privacy until they listen to it.  And for that they are supposed to have a search warrant.

I think we need new and stronger privacy laws.

In many states if a common citizen were to record people without their consent, they can get into heaps of trouble.  They 'it is not an invasion if I don't listen to it' would not fly, imo in court.

It's bad enough that they deem necessary to spy on us and it's not just the United States doing, my own country the UK is just as bad if not worse and yet the public don't seem to care about it. We all know it is wrong but i'm more worried what they would use data for. It is done in the name of "counter-terrorism" now but now they started spying would they ever stop? I don't think so, they will just make up some other excuse to do this.

I agree we need stronger privacy laws but no state will do that, i feel it's something we must fight for. At the same time, we need to keep the internet from being censored
