Actually, if you check out the patent, Microsoft did a thorough job of documenting different ways in which you could do it.
However, someone else could do haptic feedback triggers. I'm not a fan of haptic feedback however.

Yes. It's like an electric shock to me. My brother on the other hand liked it and thought it was cool. Technically speaking, force feedback/rumble is haptic feedback but there are varying levels of it.
Trying to remember what it was on. For the life of me I can't remember, but I did not like it at all.
