It absolutely is up to them to grow their franchises on all mediums possible if they want to increase budgets to make a profit. 

Do you think the playsation would still be around if it wasn't for 3rd party support? The fact is 3rd parties hellped the userbase grown on plastation as it did on xbox this gen.

To call Nintendo fans stupid for not knowing what EA is is ignorant at best as the core woudl be adults that have disposable income and own multiple consoles.
