What's funny about your comment is that there was a time when mice were not considered precise.  The precision of mice have improved so much over the years that if you think they always had the level of precision they do today then you're severely misinformed.  We're not even talking the difference between a balled mouse and a laser mouse.  The precision of ball mice improved over time, but then the introduction of a laser made them exceptionally precise.  Then again, the early laser mice were less precise than they are today.

The precision of Kinect will be based on the fidelity of the depth sensor and RGB camera. 

I'm not sure what you're getting at here.  I didn't even mention mice so I'm really not sure what the "severely misinformed" comment is about, either.

If you're implying that Kinect will improve over time, then ... OK?  If you're saying that it will match button controllers for control when Kinect 2.0 releases in a few months then I have to say that I doubt it.

Really, I can't see what your point is relative to what I posted.
