He likes iTunes. That speaks volumes. Entrusting my music to iTunes was a horrible mistake. I still haven't converted everything over yet.

Anyway, something important that he neglected to mention is that part of the reason for the "witch hunt" was simply that Microsoft seriously bungled the reveal. Had they handled it better, I think the backlash wouldn't have been nearly as bad.

I also wonder if these people ever stop to think that much of the rest of the world might not have an internet connection robust enough to go all-digital. It really seems that such a thing never enters their mind. That, or they're simply discounting such people as unimportant in the grand scheme of making money.

Yeah somehow i feel if MS stood on the E3 stage and outright said everything we need to know about the console in a clear and concise way the backlash wouldnt have been as bad. Instead they slowly trickled pieces of information which was sometimes false, then confirmed true then confirmed false again. The whole thing was a mess and the policies were always going to be tough to sell.

@bolded. It happens a lot. Even when reading comments and posts on here people don't seem to ever consider that the rest of the world plays games as well. And at times can be a very important part of it. Instead we get the same old "if you cant afford gaming then you shouldnt be playing games anyways" which is a complete load of crap. Now we need a decent internet connection, with crazy amounts of bandwidth and not to mention low latency which will always be a problem if theres no local servers (which there wont be for the majority of people around the world).
