I can't really comment on Kinect 2.0 all that much but I would imagine that there are still a lot of limitations. It just seems that you run into a wall in terms of precise control whichever way you turn. It just isn't going to replicate traditional games where you're looking for as much precision with input as possible. That means that Kinect has to have dedicated games, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I've yet to see anything that really appeals to me.

I'm not going to judge yet, of course. Maybe Microsoft will totally blow me away with 2.0 in a way that 1.0 did not. I can't help but doubt it, though.
