It's difficult to understand how it's worth their while to make a whole new game just for Japan to only sell 500k or fewer copies, but they can't afford to slap some English on it to sell another 100k or so outside of Japan. And if it's just a cost of opportunity thing, it's still very frustrating that a lot of these companies (Sega, Square, Namco) would still rather sit on their games and do nothing at all with them than to let smaller, nimbler publishers like Aksys and XSeed have a crack at localizing them. |
They wont allow another company prove them wrong. If SEGA's say they dont think Valk3 wont sell they want that perception up. If they give it to Aksys and the game sells that will give ammo fans snd embarrass them. I would rather us not them from another then my favorites go through embarrassment.
