"If you're so hung up on prices, just buy used games."

This is not all about price, but about principle and logic.

Like I said, one HD collection is 30$, half of GTAV price. No problem here ? REALLY ? If people do not see the problem here, I begin to understand why the video game industry is so terrible. I guess we all have the industry we deserve.

How is it bad that it's only half the price of something like GTAV? Don't forget that not everyone has played the games when they were prevalent on the PS2, either because they weren't gaming then or they didn't have enough money to buy all of them at the time. Also, it's a hell of a game, as you're not getting some cheap, no-name games in these collections; you're getting games that are known to be quality titles. GTAV hasn't come out yet and you don't know if it will actually be good. With these games, you know what you're getting into.

For example, when the Ratchet Collection was released, it was for $30 and you got the first THREE games for that price. That's $10 a piece for a game that are upgraded to HD, and Up Your Arsenal included its online multiplayer. Do you know what you would have to pay to buy the PS2 copies of the games? Probably around the same price for complete copies, or maybe even more. The problem with PS2 copies of games, especially used, is that they may be scratched to hell, whereas the Bluray copy of the Collection (which has all three games on ONE disc mind you) is going to be harder/nigh impossible (unless you were purposefully doing it) to scratch.
