I wish my truck was an automatic instead of a manual when I am sitting in a traffic jam also. Having to rev up the engine to go 5 feet all I can think about is there goes my gas mileage (what little I get).
For games I have to have a manual. Using the engine to slow down the car entering turns means you don't have to be as heavy on the brakes and you can control your speeds better so that you don't drive off the track entering a turn because the computer thought you were at the point when you needed to shift on a short straightaway and you gain to much speed without really noticing it.
