Ever since IDC released estimates that said PS3 shipped 78 million units and the 360 shipped 76 million, everyone has been saying the PS3 has passed the 360. I guess we'll never know until Sony and MS release the actual number. I guess we could also wait till when each console passes 80 million. I suppose then Sony and MS might release a press release or something after passing that amount. Whichever announces first will be in the lead.
But I do agree that it is much more likely that the PS3 is in the lead.
