Probably the Wii U. The PS4 and Xbox One will struggle post launch, just like every other 8th generation console has.

No...they wont struggle like Nintendo has. Nintendo had content and marketing issues post launch. If it wasnt the Wii they didnt care.

Please don't take this as wii u bashing (I own one and love it) but Sony and Microsoft will sell very well through out their first year. The xbox one will not have as big of a price factor as everyone thinks and I predict that it may not match ps4 numbers but will still do very well for Microsoft. The biggest difference with these consoles is 2 parts, message and games. "Fanboy" banter aside Sony and microsofts products both have a very clear message. Each product stands out clearly from its predecessor and there is less confusion although much more marketing is needed to reach more consumers. And there is just many more games that are being talked bout than the Wii u had around its launch (we're waiting for more talk from Sony at gamescon). 3rd part support is better not only are you getting ports of current gen games but a lot of new multiplayer are being talked about. I think these launches will do better than nintendos.

How exactly do they stand apart from there predeccessors? One has Kinect 2.0 but the original Kinect has lost Iits steam and I dont see many people rushing to get 2.0 for $500. Same goes for the TV features, they are cool but alot of current devices do similar thibgs for much cheaper.

PS4 doesnt really have anything that makes it much diffetent than PS3 except for better visuals. Also both of these consoles will share most of there games with there predeccessors. PS360 will likely have price cuts this year or next so they will be roughly half the price of PS4/One.

You are taking a hardcore gaming stance. It i looked at every console generation objectably then I could have your very same argument. What stood out about the SNES over the NES. Nothing but graphics. It had the same nintendo strategy all the way down to execution but sold better. The reason was simply in the messaging. If I am a casual wii owner that don't follow these gaming sites it is very easy for me to confuse the wii and the wii u. He'll, in my demographic 30 plus many of my associates and colleagues didn't even know until very recent that Nintendo had a new product and even then it wasn't creating the same buzz. The problem don't just lie with differentiating it from the original wii but also from every other touch device. Those casual gamers that in just my opinion can acount for half of all the consoles they sold will not be returning throughout this generation. Nintendo didn't become a leader because they were the best company last gen they did it because they created arp duct that transcended gaming and (not to diss the original wii) but became a fad. Fads create tremendous buzz, blow up quickly, are easily reconizeable, and go away just as fast. They revolutionized motion gaming, but touch thanks to apple and Samsung and a few others is just not that mind blowing. I believe that the wii u will sell decently but they won't see the numbers of last gen again and mark my words. They will announce a new handheld in 2 years and a new console around 3 years from now.

I asked how PS4/One stand out compared to PS360 and u gave a long speech about how Wii wont regain the casual market. I agree with what ur saying but it in no way has anything to do with what were talking about.

You ignored my reply to your point. Retread my reply but in short a generation traditionally mainly evolves first in the graphics that the system has to offer or power of what ever term you want to use to lable it. You are starting to sound like a fan boy and that kind of back and forth I don't really want to do. "Fanboys" in my eyes are people that are either to cheap, to poor, or parents want let them get but one system. I am a grown ass man that love video games and will have all 3 systems as soon as these past two release. I am not picking sides and will enjoy games on all my consoles. You can keep robbing yourself of the great game titles on the other systems and keep going on with you fan boy agenda.

U did not adress my point tho all I asked what in ur opinion stands out, I wasnt trying to argue whas just curious since I dont see any huge differences for the first 1-2 years since most games will be cross-gen.

And please do not label me a fanboy, I will admit that Nintendo is my favorite but I also love the hell out of Playstation and have expressed that many times on this site. I have also defended Xbox many times on this site even tho im not the biggest fan of them. PS3 and 3DS are the only consoles I own, I plan on getting Wii U this holiday and a PS4 probably in 2015 when it has a price cut and more big exclusives.

U came off extremely ignorant in that last post when all I was doing was trying to have a simple discussion.
