Interestingly still the same room setup as in the previous demos, pretty dark room too. The tv bit at the end is new, but that seems more distracting and doesn't line up very well (maybe because of the angle)
It's a great proof of concept but a long way of from working in every living room for a reasonable price. First of all projector prices have to come down drastically for projectors in the 3000 lumen range. With less it won't be able to compete with the ambient light while projecting on irregular non white surfaces.
They still haven't shown a setup with the projector on the coffee table as intended, or maybe they changed that? Seems a bit of a hassle to have to install it above the couch, but otherwise this would never work: For example, a grenade can roll out of the television, then bounce off the coffee table, and roll on the floor. All of these effects adapt to the color and geometry of any room.
I wonder if it will ever go beyond wowing people at trade shows.
