You should have said: "Sony es la maldita mejor compañía en el mundo". Wording, you see.

That's still sounds a bit off, the better way is: Sony es la mejor maldita compañía  en el mundo. 

And yes maldita can still be damn as well. It all depends on how you use it on a sentence.
