WiiU is out and has a sales record, so people can project it. The PS4 does not. To defend the WiiU by taking a shot at the PS4 doesn't. It makes some sense, based on the information, to project whether or not the WiiU is failing or not. However, it is still a bit early. But, one can end up forecasting based on past trends. One can argue that the WiiU is failling into a more funded Dreamcast actually. People base it on past trends, but also specs, and also forecast libraries and 3rd party support. The WiiU looks weak in comparison, so people are writing doomed.
