now that's awesome for small app devs they might actually have great ideas for apps for a console...
a social app for live matchmaking across your entire game library....
live leaderboard check up, you know immediately when someone beats your high score in any game you own....
a shopping app that sends you notification as soon as your selection of game price goes down even outside of the XB store (amazon, gamestop, best buy)
I'm sure there are tones of possibilities we haven't thought off yet.... when I see how many apps I have on my phone that I would have never expected to ever need a couple years from now....
and 5GB of ram is plenty enough for years to come for games.... we are running on 512MB... with optimization, by the time they really need more than 5GB it will be time for a new generation... and 10 years from now I hope fiber optic internet connection will be the norm in most urban areas in developed country and cloud computing a real solution.... I'm tired of buying hardware, I just want to pay for services that matches my use, not for stuff that I might need 10 years from now...
