Ermm... what?
A poor girl, orphan at birth, is trying as hard as she can to go through college, she had no money but she was a very good student and made great choices. No one wants to employ her right now but she needs the money to afford tuitition. She takes a job at McDonals to college degree and be a productive person and useful to society.
But I suppose that you would tell her it's her fault for being born poor.
I agree $15 is beyond excessive, but it shouldn't bother you if they want a raise. Retail jobs are hard too.
