Leaking details of an upcoming console is sufficient to have police raid your hard drive now?

No, that wasn't what did it.  He apparently was also hacking into several game studios.  Epic being one of them and Blizzard another.  He claimed he also hacked into Microsoft, but after Microsoft security personnel spoke to him they determined he didn't.

Microsoft has denied they're responsible, and whilst Microsoft personally paid him a visit as well and recovered their property (the devkit) they determined he didn't do anything illegal with regards to Microsoft.  That doesn't mean anything regarding any other company.

And for the record, leaking corporate information is a civil issue, not a criminal one.  Therefore, whatever he did is being investigated as a crime, therefore likely has nothing to do with the Durango Leaks.
