Conegamer said: So now we're assuming some small dev knows what's going on, then? And we are using GAF for a source? Alright then. Though I am not going to take this devs word any more seriously than the rumour. Because, well, they didn't know how much RAM the system had until E3. |
A dev that is confirmed to be working with a PS4 devkit. That automatically gives him far more credibility than the anonymous sources that Digital Foundry has. He is likely not allowed to talk about the specs the devkit affords him. If the devs were allowed to so freely discuss such things, nothing about specs for any of these consoles would be a mystery. Add onto that a handful of GAF users who are known insiders and whose word is pretty much accepted at face value because of their extreme accuracy with information no one outside of certain companies should have had. They are wrong from time to time but they have a ridiculously high rate of being correct especially when they back each other up, which in this case I think about four of them have done so.

Well, I never questioned who Richard or someone on Gaf. It was never a he said or she said. Richard said he saw Sony documents. It was not someone telling him about the document. This is totally different and so far no one has disputed that document or what it says.

Provided to him by who? Who else has seen this document? How old is the document? Why is there a dev who is making a PS4 game calling the report "absolutely false"? Why are there people who have proven extremely reliable backing each other up saying that the information is wrong? Why has the story been changed twice now if he had such a reliable document right in front of him?
