Why does the thread title have Absolutely False in it when in the newest update it is still 4.5GB and the only thing that was misunderstood that Sony clarified is the Direct and Flexible Memory?

By having the thread title like that it is very misleading.

Because an indie dev who is confirmed to be working on a game that will be on the PlayStation 4 tweeted that it was absolutely false. Considering that he would have a devkit right in front of him, he is a more reliable source than the anonymous sources that Digital Foundry claims gave them the information that Eurogamer based its article on. In addition, several members of the GAF community who have largely proven themselves to either be insiders or know people who are have backed each other up in saying that the RAM allocation is currently 6 gigs for games and 2 gigs for the OS. The article written by Eurogamer can't seem to get its information straight. Not only were they saying that the OS had priority over any flexible RAM which Sony corrected and informed us that the game takes priority, but the article also initially stated the flexible RAM was 1 gig and then they changed their story to 512 megs. The article that was written is based on a rumor. It is not an official report. The GAF mods and admins have also apparently taken to banning any information provided by Digital Foundry as this is shaping up to be the fourth article written based on supposed inside information from them that has been debunked.
