It doesn't at all, they were running at 1080p ultra with no optimisation

Exactly. And this is what everyone has been saying.

Third party games we will probably see increased framerates or higher native res. Maybe some added effects, higher textures etc. It all depends on the dev.

First party games we should see a bigger improvement.

I still think people who say this is another PS3/360 coparison is completely off. With PS4/Xbone theres a ~20 - 50% gap in raw performance. Theres nothing MS can do about that really.
