Yeah this shit got blown way out of proportion. 5GB is plenty for games as of now. I wouldn't say 3-4 gigs for OS is normal though for a games console at least, but we never have had a console with this much RAM so it will be normal from now on probably. I would say 1.5-2 gigs will be the amount when both Sony and MS optimize and cut down some OS stuff to reduce the footprint to unlock more for games. And as it stands most devs have said the amount of RAM they have on both systems are plenty.
