Am I the only one who has read the article multiple times and keeps coming to the conclusion that they are talking about dev kits? If I am right, isn't this no big deal at all? I mean, if they have a dev kit with only 8Gb of RAM then isn't it probably an old dev kit from before they changed the RAM amount? They mention the dev kit Killzone: SF was running on. Wasn't that running on a dev kit with 4Gb in mind, hence the 8Gb dev kit. Wouldn't that explain a lot? That would explain the huge overhead for the "OS." It just really strikes me as odd that they keep using Guerilla Games and the Shadow Fall demo as examples, when we all know that was running on a dev kit targeting 4Gb. I also find it very hard to believe that Sony's final dev kits will only have 8Gb for devs to work with. Wouldn't Sony have just done the same as MS and say that every PS4 is a dev kit? Something smells fishy.....
