Microsoft gamescom 2013 conference happening on August 20

Microsoft will host a Showcase Event at gamescom on August 20, the day before the conference opens to the public.

 

While a time was provided for the showcase, the firm will discuss more on self-publishing through Xbox One and release more information on turning the console into a devkit.

Sony’s event happens the same day around 7pm CET / 6pm BST so look for Microsoft to go before then unless it plans on pulling an all-nighter.

gamescom runs August 21-25.
