What do they want, polite melee kills? A Vulcan nerve pinch? I don't really get that one.
I don't have a problem with nice guys who kill people, either. Do people really want to play as asshole killers? No, they don't, because then they'd have little or not empathy with that character.
Dunno about the collecting thing. I ignore it if there is no purpose. I do love collecting weapons and useful objects, though.
QTEs are only bad if implemented poorly, in which case they can totally suck the life out of a game. I won't say no QTEs, just no BAD QTEs.
Claptrap proved that dubstep in games is a good thing.
