Projectors will always be the way to go if you can't do monitor frames and bezels.

Once 4K projectors come out at decent prices ($2000 or less) you can buy one and put on a super wide lense making it surround your vision with a cool aspect ratio like 4096x1080 for example...

If I can get back into PC gaming i'll definitely want to try that out.
