Well, DNA has specific "codes" kinda like a game. Now, I'm not going to get into everything here, but, religion doesn't tell me to believe in God, I'm not religious and don't affiliate myself with any religion.

But, just because you don't agree with the "religious" God doesn't mean there isn't one at all.

Its just not likely in the form of a religious god. There can be a God particle that is the basic building block of all matter, but its hardly a councious entitiy.

He also, didnt create the universe, because there was no time before the big bang and therefore "he" didnt have time to create the universe.

We can still say that he may exist as a councious entity, but theres no plausable rationale for it. Its more of a wish.

If you ask me though, the closest thing to a God is the human race. We constantly advance on our understanding of the universe and technology. We will find an almost limitless evergy source on cold fusion and we will likely learn how to travel the stars by wormhole or space-time frabric bending coupled with the cold fusion energy source. With that energy source we will be able to live without stars aslong as theres hydrogen. We can also create better vessels for ourselves in the future (robotic bodies). The human race is gonna be a force to be reckoned with and will have powers comparable to "God". We will be able to terraform planets. We will create life without the need for chance and we might even be able to defeat death with cell regrowing technology.

Its just a shame we wont be here to see it. ^^
