The problem is convincing people who haven't already decided on the Xbox One, or currently ordered but are still on the fence, that spending $100 extra on a console because it comes with a camera but no titles that make extensive use out of it for months and with only one coming out at that point is worth it. Barring any future announcements, of course. The Kinect was supposed to be this big part of the experience with games like Ryse and Crimson Dragon making heavy or even exclusive use of it. They were going to blur the line between core and gimmick. Both of those games went back to traditional controls with only some Kinect support but nothing that is required. At this point, Microsoft has to tell people to spend $100 extra and then wait for it.
