Ill wait and see, this looks exactly like the 360 where it had exclusives for the first couple years then they slowly dwindled away to just Halo, Gears and Forza.  I mean honestly think about it, Mircrosoft can't afford to keep buying 3rd party games for the whole generation, especially with the increased cost to make the games.

I have the same sentiments.  The 360 was my first MS console and I enjoyed it a lot the first couple of years, especially with all the exclusive JRPGs they had (Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscover, etc), but like you said the # of exclusives have dwindled down signifcantly by year 4 and beyond.  I appreciate the fact that Sony continues to support the PS3 in now year 7 of its lifecycle with exclusives like Ni no Kuni, The Last of Us, Gran Turismo 6, Beyond: Two Souls, Tales of Xillia 1+2, Puppeteer, Dragon's Crown, and more still to come in 2014.  I may still get an X1 eventually, but my feeling is that the PS4 will be the better long-term investment given Sony's track record of supporting their consoles well beyond the initial 5 years.
