My real problem with EA isn't just their prices and microtransactions. It's that they just seem to lack any sort of business ettiquite. What was their reaction to Nintendo telling Origin "thanks, but no thanks?" They publicly announced that they had no upcoming titles for the Wii U.
Granted, I can't prove causation, but it's still a major no-no. In the worst situation they should have phrased this positively by saying "we're focusing on the upcoming console launches."
