Awesome article on The Originals with Joseph Morgan and Julie Plec.

Two things that sounded awesome

- The Originals is gonna be a darker more adult show.

- The pilot episode will be the same as the one during TVD but without Stefan, Elena, etc. scenes. So they are gonna add 10-15 minutes of new footage in the episode.
