No, the insanity is that once cookies were biscuits here in the US.
Nabisco = National Biscuit Company.
The cookies they made were called biscuits. I forget the how biscuits became cookies, but our biscuits now are kind of like scones, but oh sooooo good.
If you're ever in the Southern US, get Biscuits and Gravy. Your heart will hate you, but your stomach will be oh soooo happy!
Or if you're already in the US, go to a restaruant and see if they offer Biscuits and Gravy, with a side of Grits.
