Don't get your hopes up. They don't plan on releasing a SKU without Kinect. They'd be taking too much of a loss at 399$ with Kinect included. 

I don't think they will anyway, unless they felt UK/US is slipping, in which case I believe they would.

If MS has to make losses they will, they can more than afford it.

You're aware of how much Microsoft makes right? It would be very small and hardly cause MS to lose their riches, don't kid yourself now.

They made a loss on 360 at launch but got back into profit fairly quickly, that ecosystem is still doing well ($800m past year) so it will subsidise Xbox One losses if there are any.

Cutting $100 and selling 10 million units is a $1bill loss, again peanuts to MS.
