I can see this is a great idea, let people (if they can) develop for themselves but I just don't get MS, why not tell us this earlier? Why allow all the bad press about Indies?
This one small article does not say they are reversing their policies on indie developers, if they knew this was going to be a part of the Xbone why not tell the indies and have their support?
EDIT: *reads above post* Ah, because hey only just decided... maybe amends, for some indie devs who just wanted a dev kit, it might be to little too late.
