Maybe not LBP because touch opens up level building and if it's connected (which a mobile platform is far less often than a home console) I can play the online levels that are built with that I suppose. The only reasons I have for having one are Tearaway, Batman, Superstardust, and Mutant Blobs. Not that into Gravity Rush I did play some of it in a store and it just didn't do it for me. I don't game that much outside the house so I'm just not a handheld guy and don't want lesser versions of my console games on the go so it's just not for me. Though you do get a lot of free games on Vita through + and maybe if PS4 integration and future titles get me interested I'll be in after a price drop. |
Actually, I'd say LBP PlayStation Vita is the definitive version of the game. Uncharted has the most actual exploration of any of the Uncharted games (though it's lost the cinematic excitement of the Naughty Dog games), it's a completely different experience to the other Uncharteds and some say with the exploration, that it actually hits a note that the PS3 games missed (though not me, Uncharted 2 is still my favourite!) and KillZone looks like it's going to be the best KillZone to date. I'm so stoked for that!.
Also there's the what's looking like the definitive version of Rayman Legends coming (all the Wii U features which the PS3/360 versions don't have and Vita exclusive content on top), Tearaway looks like Media Molecule are doing games that just aren't possible on any other format.
The fact that so many Vita games are on PS3 is a bit of a draw back, until you realise you can't pop your PS3 and TV in your pocket and play those games on the train/plane/at work/etc. The main place I play Vita though is in my front room. It frees up the TV and the sleep button makes it so convenient for pausing a game, and being able to jump straight back into it instantly later on.
I think the PS4 remote play has the potential to be mind blowing if Sony don't mess it up. It's certainly the biggest reason for me atm to buy a PS4 haha!
