With the PS3 launching in November of 2006, I don't see them launching in the same disastrous month as the PS3 launch. That and they won't want to be launching a few days ahead of Xbox1. If the can launch any before, they will want to take full advantage of it. My guess would be Oct. 17th. The last big release game for the PS3 is Beyond: Two Souls on October 8th. Give a week and a half for sales of the games, then launch the PS4. Oct 16,17,18 was all hinted at in The Last of Us. Not just on that big quarantine board, But that date was found on all calendars throughout the game. Even the calendars that were torn up, were on October, and the tearing started right at that date! If it's not another Naughty Dog game (which it might be) it will be the PS4 release date. Give that the last big PS3 release will be out on the 8th, and they want to go ahead of X1 by more than a few days, it has to be early to mid Oct at the latest. Remember how there was a "leak" with the release date for PS4 of Nov 13th or something, on a poster at a store. I'm betting Sony allowed that to leak to through off MS into thinking that's their release date. Just like they did back in Jan-Feb of this year, saying "We'll let our competition go first" and then that just being a shifty move to throw off MS. Then having their reveal in Feb.

They are too prepared this time, and everything is going just right for Sony. I don't see them backing off now, and "being safe" with a late November launch date. I wouldn't be surprised to see September mentioned at Gamescom as PS4 release date. More realistically, as far as "Holiday 2013" goes, October is known for the holiday known as Halloween.
