Just because HD-DVD failed, doesn't mean it's bad quality. It's still, far better than DVD, and at $50, that's a screaming good deal. It's more of an extremely cheap, slightly inferior, Blu-Ray player. Just because HD-DVD died doesn't mean it's junk now. The quality is still there. Now go buy one.
