For people saying "All it has are watered down versions of PS3 games, so there's no reason to own a Vita":

2) Are you able to play your PS3 on a plane? Do you take it with you in hotels? Do you hook up your PS3 in the car on long road trips?

No, but some people, like me, may want or seek for different experiences on a handheld. And in this case, if I can have those games on my home console, I´d rather choose a handheld that provides me with different gameplay ideas, then, different games.

Of course, I just speak by myself. I know a lot of people who would love to continue playing their home console games on a handheld and for those, specially Ps fans, Vita is the thing to go. It´s a great device after all, but it may be not what every consumer wants.

This is something that happens with every console and every product. Heck, I even know people that are not interested in consoles anymore and only want to play games on a PC or on a tablet.
